"Turbulence" is the latest musical project by Giungla, an intimate and enveloping EP. In this project, the artist condenses the experiences of the past few years, revealing a great artistic maturity and uncovering new aspects of her music. The project's productions, often incorporating the guitar alongside sampling, are characterized by strong international sounds that define the artist's stylistic signature.


The album cover features a painting titled "Martina's Flowers" by Swedish artist Sophie Westerlind (oil on canvas, 50 x 40 cm, 2020).

Giungla chose this painting for its rich and dynamic qualities after meeting the artist at her studio on the Giudecca in Venice. She was struck by the story Sophie shared with her: Sophie began painting flowers for the first time during the lockdown, as being distanced from nature had transformed a subject often taken for granted into something meaningful. The painter explained that "painting them in the studio felt like doing something precious and secret," and Giungla found an analogy for the approach with which she had written her own music in recent months.
